This project began as more than just a secondary residence; it was designed to house a tradition, the hunting season.

A dedicated time to disconnect from the daily grind and rediscover what matters most as a family.

The architectural and interior design for this home was focused on supporting the hobbies they love.

The layout prioritizes social gatherings, featuring an effortless flow between the grand indoor living spaces and the massive outdoor terrace.

Main Level

This level features an expansive four-seasons room that captures natural light throughout the year. A stunning double-sided fireplace anchors the space, warming both the living area and the sunroom, creating a cozy atmosphere ideal for family gatherings or enjoying morning coffee.

For the hosts, a covered side porch with a built-in grill enhances the living area, offering the perfect setting for outdoor cooking in custom-designed comfort.

Crafted for ultimate seclusion, this home features two guest bedrooms, each boasting a private ensuite and an exclusive deck. Positioned on opposite wings of the layout, these thoughtfully designed spaces ensure complete privacy for your visitors, enhancing their stay in your modern mountain home.

The arrival is an intentional journey.

A breezeway seamlessly connects the two-car garage to the main residence, guiding you into a foyer designed to act as a clean, architectural frame for the interior.

The master suite is a tranquil retreat designed for retirement living. A private deck, just steps from the bed, frames sweeping mountain views that greet the couple each morning.

The ensuite features double sinks and premium finishes, while the thoughtful layout places a spacious walk‑in closet directly off the laundry room, creating an effortless flow for daily routines.

Floor‑to‑ceiling windows capture the surrounding landscape, and vaulted ceilings amplify the sense of scale, creating a light, airy atmosphere at the home’s core. Every room is positioned to embrace the mountains, turning the horizon into a private gallery that can be enjoyed from any angle.

Basement Area

The walk‑out basement is a dedicated sanctuary that balances the high‑energy thrill of the hunt with the calm of a lodge retreat.

This space was tailored to the family’s lifestyle, featuring a dedicated gym and an expansive game zone for late-night entertainment. To support their seasonal activities, we integrated specialized storage for gear and ammo alongside a custom wine and whiskey cellar.

Crucial to their family tradition, we also designed a specialized pantry for food storage and preserves, ensuring it is always within reach.

As a final signature touch, a private jacuzzi nestles just beyond the walk‑out doors, offering a relaxed finish to any day.

While the land is currently covered by the snow season, the family has set a 2026 date to break ground. We look forward to completing the project within the same year.

Loft Level

A private guest suite offers a comfortable retreat, featuring a well‑appointed bedroom, an en‑suite full bathroom, and a walk‑in closet that feels independent from the main house.

Ample attic storage is integrated into the layout to keep belongings organized and out of sight.
